About the products
What is a Palm Melt?
A Palm Melt is a small cube of body butter. You crush it between your palms, it melts with the warmth of your hands, and you rub it into your skin. One tin holds about 40 cubes.
How long does one tin last?
About 2 months with regular use. Start with one cube at a time, since a little goes a long way.
Will it feel greasy?
Palm Melts are rich, but they are built with a light oil and a silky arrowroot finish, so they absorb comfortably. Use less on warm days.
What's in it?
Shea butter, mango butter, soy wax, beeswax, MCT oil, arrowroot powder, vitamin E, rosemary extract and fragrance oil. See our full ingredients page.
Why are there no preservatives?
Our formulas contain no water, and preservatives are only needed in water-based products.
Is it vegan?
No. Our products contain beeswax.
What does "inspired by" mean?
Our Inspired Collection scents are made to capture the character of well-known fragrances. They are not the original perfumes, and we are not affiliated with those brands.
Care and safety
My cubes got soft. What do I do?
Water-free butter softens in heat. Keep your tin out of hot cars and direct sunlight. If it softens, chill it in the fridge. It will firm up again, though the cubes may lose their exact shape.
I have sensitive or acne-prone skin. Can I use it?
Palm Melts are a rich body butter, made for the body. If your skin is sensitive or acne-prone, please do a patch test first. Everyone's skin is different.
What if I have an allergy?
Our products contain shea butter, mango butter, soy-derived wax, beeswax and fragrance oil. Please check the ingredient list on the product page before you buy.
What's the difference between fragrance oil and flavor oil?
Palm Melts use fragrance oils for scent. Lip Melts use flavor oils, because lip balm is meant for your mouth area.
